- Description: If you use KDE, you know that when and if you receive a talk request you may never know unless you're logged into the server. With KTalkd, when you receive a message a dialog box appears, and you can do one of two things: you can answer with the talk client of your choice, or you can to choose to ignore it twice. Your party requesting talk will be able to leave a message in your local OR remote mail box. An extremely handy program if you use Talk.
