- Description: This is the KOffice suite for KDE. Currently the KDE development team plans to integrate this powerful office suite into KDE 2.0. KOffice currently includes KSpread, KPresenter, KDiagramm, KImage, KIllustrator, KFormula and KWord. KSpread is a spreadsheet, KPresenter is a presentation application, KIllustrator is a vector drawing program, KWord is a FrameMaker-like wordprocessor, KDiagramm draws charts and diagrams, KFormula is a formula editor and KImage is a simple image viewer. Although it is still in Alpha development stages, that does not mean that it crashes all the time, it just means it is lacking in many features. Even this with this fact in light, the KOffice suite is still very impressive. Its hard to believe something this great is OpenSource. Its definitely going to be the killer app in 2000.
